In this week's lecture, Angela Fusco, Senior Designer at Purple Brand in Paris, shared her extensive experience and unique insights into fashion design. She highlighted the importance of diverse experiences for inspiration and how to integrate knowledge of apparel design and textile engineering to select colors, materials, and detail processing. Additionally, Angela offered advice on identifying personal career aspirations, discovering true passion, and knowing when to change or upgrade the work environment. Her lecture provided valuable insights into the fashion industry, especially inspiring for those looking to find their place in the fields of fashion, design, and creativity.

This week, I'd like to discuss job-hopping, career ambitions, and the balance with real-life demands. Balancing personal ambitions with real-world necessities is a common challenge in career planning. We all harbor grand dreams and desire to realize our value and passion on our professional paths. However, blindly pursuing ideals while ignoring practical circumstances can lead to frequent job changes, ultimately destabilizing and hindering career progression. It's essential to recognize that career growth is a gradual process of accumulating experience and skills. Choosing a relatively stable job in the initial stages not only lays a solid foundation for future ambitions but also allows continuous learning of new knowledge and skills.

Understanding the balance between career aspirations and reality does not mean giving up on dreams but pursuing them based on wise planning and practical foundations. By gaining experience in various positions, continuously learning, and growing, and then making more favorable career decisions at the right time based on personal abilities and market demands, we can not only achieve our professional goals but also ensure stability and growth in the real world.
